Larry Davis' Battle Agains Mesothelioma Gains More Press! (July 13th, 2010)
Larry's hard fought battle agains Mesothelioma and the companies that knew of it's terrible effects is an inspiration to us all. And now, it appears that people, especially those in Washington D.C., are listening!
Larry has teamed up with the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation to get the word out about the deadly effects of Asbestos exposure, and that battle has taken him all the way to the nation's capitol! Florida House of Representatives Designates September 26th as "Mesothelioma Awareness Day! (June 9th, 2010)
Thanks largely in part to the tireless work of Race Founder Larry Davis, Meso sufferers everywhere across the great state of Florida will now have their voices heard. Starting in 2010, September 26th will be known as "Mesothelioma Awareness Day" - a day to stop, remember those who have suffered and succumbed to this terrible disease, and promote our ever-lasting cause.

Larry Davis to be present at International Mesothelioma Symposium! (May 28th, 2010)
Larry Davis, race founder and champion for Mesothelioma sufferes everywhere, will be present in Washington for the International Mesothelioma Symposium Washington D.C., from June 10-12 of 2010. In addition to running and fighting for his cause, Larry has taken up the torch as the loudest voice in the nation against companies who have utilized asbestos and covered up it's effects for years. We are very proud to support Larry, and even more proud of his work!

Chris Hahn, Executive Director of the Meso Foundation, and Kirsten Silva, Director of Major Gifts, will be attending the South Florida Miles For Meso 5K Run/Walk on February 14, 2010!
Chris and Kirsten will be organizing a meet and greet reception with meso community members the evening of Friday, February 12, 2010. Since our last symposium, the Foundation has learned of some very exciting news that Chris will be announcing. In addition to this news, we will be discussing a brief overview of the most recent grants which were awarded by our Foundation. We hope to see you there!
